It was amazing being back on the east coast for a week! My buddy Ryan and I went out and took photos two nights while I was there. Thankfully he was more prepared then me. When he picked me up before we hit the city, it was discovered I had misplaced both my tripod and my SD card. Thanks for letting me borrow your gear for this snap Russ!

The east coast has invaded! My homies, whom I haven’t seen in years, are on a skateboard road trip beginning from Long Island, NY! After shooting their way to the left coast in just over a week, I have the honor of feeling like a local and showing them around. Unfortunately I am not too knowledgable on the skate spots here, but they did see a California sunset from twin peaks! New Years 2013 here we come! There’s nothing quite like seeing a familiar faces, especially in an uncharted territory.

Meditation isn’t easy. It’s just like physical exercise, so I hear, the more time you put into it the more results you get back. I’ve been attempting meditation at least once a day for the past two weeks, and last night I took this snap to show that it’s sometimes easier said than done. Even still, I still woke up this morning and gave it another shot! If any of you practice and have any tips feel free to shoot some my way!

Two weeks ago, my cross-country motorcycle trip came to an end, and I arrived in San Francisco! The month it took to get here was undoubtably unforgettable. Seeing familiar faces, and meeting new ones are what make life so awesome! I’ll be editing and posting video from the journey on here once I get my computer to edit it on! So now, here I am in SF, just looking for a job to pay rent and taking a few classes in January. It has been two weeks and no luck with the job yet but I just have to keep trying!

I stumbled on your page and I gotta say, you've inspired me to attempt backpacking Europe very shortly. I'm from a very small city in Canada and haven't been further then 4 hours in each direction to explore, sad :( What was your push? Was there anything specific that happened for you to finally take the first step to explore world?

What up dude! Glad I’ve helped you take your first step to get out there! Well… I was in college like most kids after High School, but wasn’t truly happy. Didn’t like the classes, I wasn’t learning what I wanted to, I just wasn’t ready for it yet. So I saved up, hopped into my car and took off with my camera. I figured if I wasn’t learning what I wanted to learn about filmmaking in school, I should be productive and try to teach myself. The scariest part is the first part…. leaving. After that, you’ll realize it was the best decision you’ve ever made! I’m back in school taking classes now, I just needed some time off to figure it out on my own.

Yeo man, really digging your youtube vids. I'm thinking about going to Europe within the next two years and your vids made me even more anxious. Btw, I'm from Jersey, what part did you go to while you came here?

Hey man, thanks! I’m from Passaic county in a small town called Ringwood! Get out there and do you!

How do you afford your travels etc.? Youre living my dream, just trying to find a way to do it myself! Also, what camera do you use? Amazing pictures.

If you make it your main goal, it will accumulate.  Just save save save with your goal in mind. I worked, sold tee shirts, and whatever else I could to make some cash. Then when traveling I have a pretty strict budget to make it last! I have a 60d :) thanks so much!
